CCMV is very much in alignment with the values and ethos of The B- Lab (and the B-Corp) movement.
We both see the potential and need for business as a force for good and we both agree that business needs to continue to prosper.

At the practical level there are a couple of #business complementary differences.

Where the B-Corp community focuses on:

“ensuring that stakeholder voices are incorporated in decision-making, paying attention to those who affect and are affected by company actions”

… CCMV sees the organization’s ecosystem as a source for “new business opportunities which are generated and executed in partnership with ecosystem stakeholder(s).

We see the organization’s engagement with its ecosystem stakeholders as addressing the question,

“where can we collaborate in ways that utilize the strengths/assets that each of us brings to the table in ways that address what really matters and truly create mutual value?

With this in mind CCMV is working on the development of a new strategy and practice model for moving from shareholder to stakeholder capitalism. This new approach is based on our research into what has been shown to work among first movers in this area.
